Just a quick post before I go to the store and start being all productive (at home, not in the store).

I had my last exam of the semester yesterday. Ecology. I got a 5. I didn’t really expect it, since I started studying for it on Sunday, and the first question the professor asked me I didn’t really know the answer to. But well, it was the only thing I hadn’t quite understood, so I guess fate or whatever was on my side.

So many good grades this semester. Im proud of myself. Maybe I’ll fix that 3 in Economics next year as well, just because I can.

I took time off yesterday, because I felt like I had earned it. The urge to just go home and start writing those million emails that I need to send was immense, but I forced myself not to think about it. And it paid off. There’s no way I can really explain it other than that I can feel it – that one night of rewarding myself really helped.

I had cake and cider and the Simpsons and the kitty. :D

OOOOOH right: we got a cat! She is tiny and cute and incredibly awesome, and we named her Ninja.

That’s right.

No one’s cat is as awesome as ours, because ours is named Ninja!!

I might or might not have a job for June, but if I don’t, I’ll just use the time to rest and write some and plan for JulNoWriMo before going to Disneyland.

And that’s kind of it. Nothing else to say. I’d write more, but I want to get on with the day, and this post was only meant to list the news.

I think a mosquito bit me on a scar last night (I don’t even know if they do that, but whatever). There is no other way to explain what is going on on my arm.

There’s coffee somewhere in this kitchen. I can smell it. There’s math too. Lots of it. And I should really get to it, but first I must get this crap out of my head so I can concentrate. Hey – I finally found a practical use to this blog! :D

Well. The Air Quality exam was a 5, which is, you know, the highest mark there is. Don’t know about the Soil Protection thing yet. Physics went okay. I’m not sure if there were several versions of the exam strewn around the room or we are all nuts, but everyone got different answers. And not just somewhat different. Very different. I’m talking astronomical differences (in one part of the exam we had to check a bunch of true/false sentences – I got all true, another girl got all false, and other stuff like that).

Buuuuuut – whatever. I’ll find out all about it tomorrow after the math exam. That is, if I get everything done and do go. I’ve been considering bailing tomorrow’s exam and just taking the one in June. A bad idea, certainly, but not as bad as failing tomorrow would be.

Sometimes there just isn’t enough time to do everything.

But hey, I went shopping yesterday and bought myself some clothes, so it’s all cool. 8|

The Madness Proceeds

May 18, 2010

Look! QUICKLY! My blog has 444 views!

Totally awesome, right? No?

Didn’t think so.

Well. I had the Soil Protection thing exam today, which literally took me FIVE MINUTES. The questions were multiple choice, and there were only 28 of them. Five minutes.

Are they being serious?

Decaf coffee after four hours of Physics reading is not refreshing. Which is a good thing, I guess, considering I’m planning to go to sleep in th next twenty minutes. My whole upcoming week will be filled with Physics and Math.

Yeah.

Jesus help us all.

:D

So. I haven’t written anything for a while. Mostly because I have been BUSY. Again.

:)

I had an exam on Monday and another one today. We’ll see how these went. I’ll find out about the Air Quality one (which was today) tomorrow, which is pretty sweet, considering it took our Economics professor one and a half friggin months to give us our results. Yes, really.

Got tons of homework to do. But not tonight. Tonight I sleep.

Next week:
Monday: Environmental Chemistry exam? (the first one was mainly anorganic chem.).
Tuesday: four hour Ecology lecture, then Soil Protection exam.
Wednesday: nothing, much.
Thursday: Ecology trip, which is compulsory and will take about five fucking hours.
Friday: Mathematical Analysis exam. See why I was upset about that Ecology thing?

Oh well. At least I won’t get bored.
